i had a chance to eat at the newly bought veggie fun and the food is delicious. the ice cream still isn't vegan, but they said they are working on it. there are other vegan desserts available, worth checking out, but always double check the vegan factor....
i didn't find this place to be as good as all the hype. the food is good and prices are decent. the only problem i've found since i've moved to phoenix is the random hours they decide to be open. it seems like every time we tried to eat there they were closed on the hours the sign said they were open. i would suggest calling first.
the food here is awesome for a vegan who wants to feel like cheating without cheating. warning on the cheese though, the first time we asked it was vegan, then it wasn't, then it was again, so who knows the truth - always double check! although the food is great, the service leaves much to be desired. we always go back 'cause the food is so good but every time we swear we won't go again 'cause someone there makes us mad. sometimes they are just too lazy to cook something and say they are out of it. so just be warned, worth a try though, definitely.
big quantities of food, rare for a vegan restaurant. the food is good. i always bring it back to work for my meat eating buddies and they love it, it fills them up and they feel good after eating it, unlike after a huge plate of meat. good, friendly service, i go there all the time 'cause i work down the street.
simply an amazing restaurant, rumors or franchising, so i hope to see them everywhere for everyone to try because the four that exist are great. i love the atmosphere at the desert locations but this is the most kid friendly one, and my daughter loves the mac and chreese and pizza. i love the california dip (not on the menu but they'll make it!) sandwich. my hubby swears by the jerk burger. a must try! my whole family (non vegans alike) love it from appetizers to dessert...
previously called panda wok, this place is definately the best in asian vegan dining. the prices are good, and the food is perfect, from appetizers to dessert...
things to make sure you try are the (appetizers) skewers (satay) and the basil chickenless, (entrees) mongolian beef, potato curry chickenless, green bean tofu, and even though scottie was somehow cool enough to get a dish named after him, i have a special dish there too they just don't love me enough, but they'll make it, it's the chicken from the potato curry with the green bean tofu sauce... and dessert, oh man, the desserts, always something new to choose from but the banana cake was amazing. even the drinks are original and great.
the service is also wonderful, it's family owned and you'll feel like family every time you eat there.
