Basic 4's vegan cheesesteak isn't bad, but it's not the best. The sweet potato pie was pretty delicious though. I've only been here once, since I always forget that they're closed on Saturday
Love love love love love Ed's vegan pizza. I usually get the vegetarian vegan pizza, which is mushroom, green pepper, onion, olives, spinach, tomato slices, and broccoli. So good. Close to Drexel and Penn, and open super late. They also deliver and sometime offer discounts when you place your order online.
Also, they have vegan calzones and strombolis which are awesome.
Homemade 50 cent a block tofu! Awesome! Plus they have so many vegan grocery items like ice cream, cream cheese, sour cream, desserts, snacks, and chocolate bars!
Govinda's chicken cheesesteak is one of my favorites in the city. Also, they always have sticky buns from Vegan Treats, which are awesome.
So awesome. Get the Crispy HipCity Ranch sandwich.
This place is okay, at best. I was so excited to find about another place in the city that had vegan pizza. When I heard about their almond pizza cheese, I was extremely intrigued. I ordered a pizza with the almond cheese, half bbq vegan chicken and half buffalo vegan chicken. I was really glad I checked the pizza before I left, I open the box and there didn't seem to be any cheese. All I saw was sauce and little balls of what I assumed was the vegan chicken. Apparently those little patches were their almond cheese. The cheese was crunchy and odd, it didn't spread so it was very hard to get cheese in every bite. I really didn't enjoy it at all and I probably wouldn't go back.
So cheap and delicious! A large seseam tofu that feeds two or three people is only 6.55 with tax. A small is somewhere around three dollars, and definitely enough for one or two people.
Vegan tacos, nachos, burrito, fajitas, and more! So close to Drexel and Penn and so tasty. Only thing I have a problem with is that after 5pm, you can't get in unless you're 21. Super annoying.
New Delhi is my favorite Indian restaurant of all time. Sign up for their mailing list, they constantly send 15% off coupons! Wednesday night is the best night for vegan options!
Vedge is absolutely amazing. I've loved every dish I've ever got here. While it's pretty expensive, it's definitely worth it.
When I was here, they only had one vegan option available. It was pretty small and pretty expensive. Overall, it's "eh".
