So, my girlfriend and I were just waiting and waiting for this place to finally open up in downtown Fullerton. When it finally did, we took a break from another local cafe and went to Green Bliss.
For a couple of girls who don't have much money we could only afford drinks. The service is REALLY nice. Friendly staff who is willing to help with whatever you need. Located in a small little cubbie-hole in DTF. We sat outside in the back patio. That was kind of the only issue I had with it- since the another place sharing the patio space (I'm not sure which) was setting up for what looked like a wedding or something. We got glared at for sitting outside and "being in their way" which, wasn't really accurate because green bliss had their tables and seats out there.
Long story-short: it's a nice little place that just needs to find it's fans. I'm one, but I'm not sure when I'll be going back. I like The Owl Cafe too much c:
This place is great! It's good enough for this mall-hater to actually fight for parking just to walk into a stupid mall to get some awesome food :)
One of the girls behind the counter was chatting with me about the vegan lifestyle... I felt so connected. This place is in it's own world and it's awesome.
It's a drive for me to get here but it's totally worth it! My girlfriend and I have had anniversaries here- the garden pizza is a winner every time- and we even invited some friends here before our high school prom last year haha!
Awesome food. They're doing a lot of right.... Like the last review says, I don't have to question their menu! I don't have to worry about the "chicken" or the "cheese" I can just indulge in a great meal that is true to it's vegan values.
To be honest, after eating here for years I had no idea they were "vegan-friendly."
vegetarians can order just about anything without meat and it'll still taste good. But there is nothing vegan actually/physically stated on their menu. Hmmph.
But it's good news to me! Also, it isn't a "non-smoking" place. You can sit outside and smoke all you want and enjoy some awesome food. It's a great place, it really is.
If you get there at a typical breakfast or lunch time, you might have to wait in a ridiculous line just to get seated. It's a small place so if you mind sitting close to other tables inside and out then it may not be for you. But most people I've encountered here don't mind and neither do I. (:
