Food: Excellent! Spectacular! Chef Johnny Chu is a master of Asian cuisine. His sauces seem to always have a perfect balance of ingredients. Rather than being a mix of flavors that communicate a single taste, his sauces have a complexity that deliver layers of flavors from the moment it hits your tongue, through the full melding of flavors as you chew, to the finishing sensations once you swallow. I know this description must sound like overkill, but I don't know if just gushing about how good the food is would do it justice. Eating at Fate is a taste extravaganza!
Price: Unbelievably low! For the amount and quality of food, I felt guilty for paying so little.
Atmosphere: Great! Fate is in a used-to-be house in an older neighborhood in Central Phoenix. The small space is intimate and cozy. Art house do-it-yourself decorating gives the place a personal feel, like you have been invited to dinner a a really cool friend's house. Modern alternative music mixed by a live DJ compliments the artsy feel of the place.
Service: Great! The staff was quite attentive despite the fact that they were very busy. Our waitress was impressive as she described the special for the evening and answered all of our questions about items on the menu. You could tell that she loves not only working there, but eating there too.
Overall: The location isn't the greatest and there isn't much parking other than on the street about a block away. Otherwise I would give Fate a "10". Food, atmosphere, service--they have it all dialed in. I have eaten there many times and often take friends visiting from out of town there. Despite the location, Fate is a not-to-be-missed destination.
Jamba Juice is really good at what they do. Juices are fresh squeezed right there when you order and you can certainly taste it! Their smoothies are made of lots of good stuff. I shy away from their "boosts" which can include anything from vitamins to supplements like ginko and gensing. I personally am all about getting my nutrients from my food, but if you are into supplements they offer a large number of goodies that you can add to your smoothie. There is something for everyone. They have so many flavors and combinations. Nothing beats a cold smoothie in the heat of a Phoenix summer.

Food: Excellent! Everything I have every had at Delhi Palace is phenomenal. A large portion of their menu is vegetarian dishes. You can specify how spicy you would like your food (mild, medium, or spicy) and your dish will be prepared to those specifications with the marvelous spices and flavors typical of Indian food.
Price: Great! You get a ton of food for the price. I always end up taking home a doggie bag for lunch the next day.
Atmosphere: Very good. Dehli Palace is in a strip mall by the university, but you forget all about that once you step inside. The walls are decorated with pictures depicting scenes from India, traditional Indian clothing and shoes and all sorts of Indian items abound. Indian music is always playing. Mirrors along the wall make the space appear larger than it is for an open, airy feeling.
Service: Excellent. The staff is always timely and attentive. My dining partner and I have often laughed that it is the restaurant-of-the-never-empty-water-glass. The staff is always at hand and cognizant of the diner's next desire.
Overall: I love dining here and would recommend it to anyone. I would recommend the complete vegetarian dinner for those who are unfamiliar with the tastes of India, as this will give you a sample of several different styles of dishes. And even if you don't think you are that hungry, order bread. The paranthas are an experience in themselves.
