my spouse and i ate here a few months ago and were very disappointed. we had heard great things about the food and were excited because it's advertised as having vegan & gluten-free options. we split the white bean hummus plate as our appetizer and asked for no feta. the plate was a tiny ramakin of hummus, a few olives, and a scant amount of peppers. we were thinking there would be some other veggies like cucumbers, tomatoes, etc. offered, as well as a large portion size. i ordered the beet salad sans cheese and it wasn't really a salad - just beets with micro greens on top. i figured there would be a spring mix underneath the beets or something - i should not have assumed. it was very tasty, but it the portion was so very small, and in my book, it didn't classify as a salad. for my entree i was super excited about the gluten-free vegan lasagna, however the pasta was extremely mushy (we use brown rice noodles at home and are able to cook them al dente), the marinara was bland and lacked a certain something, and i was unimpressed with the tofu ricotta (it was bland). my spouse had a few bites and wasn't a fan either. he had the veggie club sans cheese and made without butter - and said it was average. we understand that when you ask someone to veganize a dish that you're not going to get what it was intended to be, but for a place that boasts vegan and gluten-free options, we thought the flavors wouldn't be compromised. we did very much enjoy the white bean hummus, although we were looking for more (serving size wise and more veggies), and we loved the beer and wine selection. the atmosphere was awesome and the staff was fantastical - we were just disappointed. maybe our expectations were set too high.
