The food was good, but trying to get something vegan was a pain! I thought that, as a vegetarian restaurant, it would be easy to find something vegan. Instead, I have more luck at non-vegetarian Indian restaurants. The food was FANTASTIC (though I am still confused about whether it was actually vegan or not; it really was a hassle). I think I'll stick with going to Udupi Cafe, though, which also offers Dosai and Uppatham; Udupi is always clearly marked and nicer to vegans. The ambiance in Cafe Krishna was definitely nicer, though.

I take friends and family here quite frequently because I'm vegan, it's close and it offers that sit-down experience that Woodlands lacks.

Unfortunately, they don't mark which items are vegan but your servers can let you know if items have ghee or yogurt in them. Some are more helpful than others, however.

I really like the music and the atmosphere here. Also, they serve your food on banana leaves which I think is super cool. I've eaten a lot of Indian food and I have to say that I think Cafe Krishna has the best Gobi Manchurian in the valley. And it is allegedly vegan, so try it! It is very spicy, however.

Service is a bit slow and forgetful, but the dinner's food quality was great. Menu prices are reasonable with decent portion sizes. The 7x dosai and 7x uthappam platter for $14 was a good sampler to try. They were vegan-friendly, leaving out ghee and diary at request. The atmosphere is good. Compared to other veg Indian restaurants, they don't use all the disposables like Woodlands and the menu is a little bit easier to understand than Udupi's.

horrible! Will never return there again. Cold food on buffet, kheer was so watered down as to be unrecognizable and rice was cook to disintration in the kheer, ugh.
WAY TOO EXPENSIVE, vil carrot halwa swimming in grease, never saw anything like it, this is was the indian buffet from hell. Bread was cold and hard and stale like it had been from yesterdays buffet.
WTF?!?!!? Considering contacting the credit card company and asking them to stop payment since calling that a meal was a fraud!!!!
Close this dump down before they rob anyone elses wallet, and did I mention the service was plain weird?

Really bad service, overpriced and oily food" . I have tried this restaurant twice and it is sad to say that they are consistent in providing a really bad service (wait for one hour to get the take out, arrogant - bad attitude). Their food is oily and I had to put the dosa on a paper napkin before eating it. Food is expensive. All in all, you don't get what you pay for. Not going there again

The Rangoli Mini Dosai Mini Uthappam platter (#36) is the best! It comes with an assortment of Uthappam and Dosa with chutneys. Probably the best dosa I have had. Their Chole is also excellent. Yes the service isn't the best, but the food is so worth it. I haven't been to their buffet yet, so I will try that next time.

I've been here for weekday buffet and as well as weekend buffet. The food taste are so and so. The service needs lots of improvement. I would think twice before going here again.
