I love sushi and really want to love this place.
There are vegan options, so that is great. People who are not vegan love the Hibachi in the downstairs. People go upstairs to have sushi. You must tell the host/ess which you prefer when you come in or they will assume you want Hibachi.
I do not go here anymore because I have seen issues of the owners or workers children being cared for (not) in the restaruant during hours. I witnessed a waiter bullying and roughing up one of the children on a crazy busy night.
The other issue keeping me from this place is when we were served sushi there were hygiene concerns from the server (from his nose) the first time eating there. The second time the sushi did not seem fresh.
This coming from someone who had long awaited Japanese food to come to this area. I also wish there was a traditional rice bowl available here.
For sushi, go to Minneapolis.
