Calavino has been cooking around Atlanta for years, but this new venture is likely her greatest to date. The menu at the Soul Kitchen is expansive and friendly to eaters of all descriptions. I'm not a vegetarian, but I usually eat veggie at her restaurants because the food is so tasty and healthy. The tofu scramble at breakfast is one of my favorite dishes in the world as is her AMAZING tequila gravy with just perfectly toasted(!) biscuits.

I can't wait to try more of Calavino's soulful dishes!
