In this converted old-fashioned garage just off Lombard in St. Johns, laid back chic comes together with sustainability and respect for all living things to produce beauty and good times. Come for a haircut, creative color, or a unique and stunning tattoo - let our artists reveal your true beauty (yeah, guys, you have beauty in there too, accept it!) - leave feeling great, looking fabulous, and probably with some new enlightenment (or maybe just some ideas about homemade kombucha or a new album to check out) as well.

From I-5, get off on the Lombard St. W exit, go west until you hit St. Johns, then take a left onto Charleston and it's right there, on your right.
Coming north on Greeley, take a left (W) onto Lombard...same as above.
Closest bus is the 17, right in front of the building, but the 4, 6, and 75 also stop maybe a block or so away on Lombard.

A sign proclaiming The Parlour a "Meat-Free Zone" greets you on the way in. Heather, the owner, is very passionate about living/working in such a way as to minimize any negative impact on any other living thing. So expect no paper cups, no products tested on animals, no consumer crap.
She's an artist with hair, always knows what I want before I do (or maybe it's just that I'm surprised at her understanding of the gobblety gook I seem to be speaking when I explain what I want). I have very thin, fine hair, so I'm always impressed with the volume she coaxes out of it. She brings out the best in what I have, and I get compliments like never before (even from other hair stylists)! I have never looked so good or felt better about my hair!!
