Weaver Street is a co-op, providing local and organic produce and alternative products (soy products, etc). Their prices are fair, and their products are fresh. Breads are baked fresh everyday, from organic and local ingredients: whole wheat, baguettes, spelt, challah, etc. They also bake pastries and cakes - vegan also! There are regular events held on the lawn (music, dancing, speakers, etc).

I love Weaver Street! Carrborro is probably the #1 liberal place in the US, and as such they have lots of vegans and vegetarians. Vegan cakes, vegan ice cream- it's so easy to be a vegan with Weaver Street! And I love the availability of their alternative products and organic produce. And if I want lunch or dinner or breakfast, I can pop into the cafe section and get some vegan food!
