CashWise has a truly great selection of vegetarian and vegan items, particularly for a large discount grocer in the middle of North Dakota. I visit the Fargo-Moorhead area once a year or so and I think Cashwise meets or beats most of the standard grocery store options from my area (Boston). They had Follow Your Heart Gourmet Vegan cheese about a year before they had it out here. That's truly impressive. They have the usual selection of organic cereals, canned goods, and other staple items, and they have a pretty significant selection of frozen and refrigerated vegan specialty items like fake meats and soy cheeses. Kudos to CashWise for being a great vegetarian resource in an otherwise veg-unfriendly place.
CashWise has a reasonable selection of organics, but Hornbacher's grocery stores are very strong competition. For fresh organic produce in Fargo, try Green Market, downtown. Bottom line: Cashwise is cheaper; the others (Hornbacher's or G. M.) have better quality.
