Cute little cafe that is of the philosophy no one should go hungry just because they can't afford to eat. Their menu changes daily but there are no posted prices. Pay what you want-if you are short of cash one day, pay more the next time. There are always two soups (one hot, one cold), fresh salad, fruits in season, and several entrees and side dishes. Many vegan options, some lacto-vegetarian options, 1 meat option (generally).

The food is great here, with quiche, salads, soups, deserts, etc. Very crowded during lunch, and the payment system can be too confusing. Never knew exactly how much to pay. Would of been better if they'd just charged for items, and maybe offered free soup and sandwiches. In any case, the Catholic church up the street gave out free food for those in need.
