The Duluth branch of the infamous Minneapolis pizza joint
Same basic menu as the downtown Minneapolis and Lyn-Lake Minneapolis locations. Sometimes with live music.
The Duluth location also serves brunch on Saturday and Sunday, with such dishes as vegan biscuits and gravy, vegan breakfast burrito with tofu and spices, veggie tofu scramble, portabella florentine, vegan sausage patties and jalapeno hash browns.

And so I finally made it to the mythic Duluth branch of Pizza Luce. I'd heard about it from so many different people though, truth be told, it didn't seem all the special or mythic when I got there.
The downtown location is nice, there's lots of space, and the service is just as friendly as at any of the Twin Cities' branches.
Contrary to previous reviews, there is no Mexican food served here, at least not anymore. The menu here is now all but identical to the Twin Cities' locations.
We split a mock sausage parmagiana which was just as good as the other locations. Along with Chester Creek Cafe and the Whole Foods Co-op, Pizza Luce is one of only a few places in Duluth to get a decent vegan meal, so I'm glad it's around, though I don't think it stands apart from the other Pizza Luces.
I like going to pizza luce in the late afternoon when it's not so busy. Very hipster, but if you can get over it, the food is terrific!! Sneak into the bar area where it's quiet, and you can enjoy your meal with some tasty brews. I love love love the vegan muffuletta (made with mock duck) YUM.
Yummy food and a fun place to eat. Great vegan options
Its pizza Luce what can you say, although the staff were unsure what could be made vegan even if it was stated on the menu, and alas the Mexican food appears to no longer have any vegan options.
It's like the other Luce's, but this one also offers some decent vegan Mexican food. I really liked the quesadilla I had.
I love Pizza Luce. There are 3 locations (I believe) in the cities and the one location in Duluth. Every time we visit Duluth, we go there. They have awesome vegan options (and a vegan dessert every day). I love their spicy mock duck and rinnotta (the uncheese) sandwich and pizza (with these toppings). You can never go wrong as a vegan at Pizza Luce. Wish we had one in Brainerd!
Luce (pronounced LOO-chay) anchors downtown's Technology Village. By day, it serves the downtown lunch and tourist crowd but toward nightfall, the clientele gradually shifts to younger hipsters. Very good food is to be had at Luce virtually any time of day or night. Live music, flying dough, lots of mood lighting and comfortable seating to boot. The Sunday brunch is sublime, so the non-night owls are included in Lucé’s world domination plot. Many, many menu options for vegetarians and vegans or anyone with the necessity of a “meat break.” And it’s in downtown Duluth!
Pretty much the same food as the other locations, but in a different setting. This location has a trendier interior. Thier sunday menu includes brunch from 10am to 3pm. I've only eaten here once, but it was good and somehow we managed to get a free meal courtesy of our waiter. (Maybe he felt bad because we were teasing him about his lack of tattoos or dreads- a Pizza Luce employee standard!)

love love love it
