A Greek restaurant that's better than you might expect to find in a strip mall. In the Gateway Pavillions area of Avondale, just off I-10.
For vegetarians, there are appetizers, salads, and the falafel or breaded eggplant pita.

I really like Ararat's. The food here is always good, the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated, and the staff are really friendly. I like to get the small falafel pita with either fries or salad, and it's a large amount of good food for a small price.
The BEST hummus, babaganuh, falafel, breded egplant pita, tabuleh.
