I visited New York in April and had lunch at Hummus Kitchen, having read a very positive review in the New York Times. The food is superb - it may even exceed my favorite restaurant back home (The Gardens of Solonica in Minneapolis). The decor is simple, which is fine. There is an elegance to the hummus and bread that is hard to describe. I absolutely recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting New York with a taste for Middle Eastern vegetarian food.
