This popular spot for Concordia University students features fresh, cheap vegan foods cooked daily, as well as offering health food grocery staples. It is a not-for-profit run by students.

As a Concordia student, Frigo Vert became my major hang out and main place to get groceries or lunches. They have a lounge with plenty of alternative literatures (journals / flyers / books on social, health, human rights issues). They provide the best organic fair trade 50 cents cup of coffee in town, which is simply delicious with their freshly baked vegan goodies, or uncooked raw food bars. The kitchen in the back is free of use, as long as it stays clean :) And, er... it's better to bring your own cup!
Besides ready-to-eat food, they offer a wide range of very cheap and mostly organic bulk foods, as well as essential oils and canadian made care products.
