New all-vegetarian restaurant in easy walking distance from anywhere in downtown Portland. Has received many enthusiastic reviews. I find the food pleasant, but a little boring and not incredibly flavorful. The curries (so-called) are not spicy at all. It probably appeals to a wider crowd by being mild, and one is glad and grateful for any vegetarian restaurant in this town, after all. Entree portions are nice and large. Dessert portions are far too small and I can make better vegan cheesecake than that at home. Overall I recommend the soy nuggets appetizer and the peanut curry.
