Wow, I was so happy to find this place! The food was great - even my non veggie friend enjoyed his meal. I'll definitely stop in again the next time I'm in Kaui!
This place is fabulous! Amazing food. They even do "Live Fridays"--that means the special is live food. I think they have regular live music every week, and the servers are charming.
I had the Heavenly Hamakua. I will have a hard time ordering anything else next time I go, and yet I want to have everything on the menu!
The German Chocolate cake was huge and delicious. I am actually a baker at The Grit in Athens, Ga (a veggie/vegan restaurant) and LOVED every bite of that perfect cake...my husband and I actually shared it and it was plenty for both of us.
I highly recommend working this restaurant into any trip to Kauai. We passed through the town of Kapa'a several times while we were there...it's on the way to everything.
Oh, be mindful of their daily closing between lunch and dinner...and enjoy.
Food was great. We had several items from there and they were all excellent.
