I liked Native Foods because we are regulars at the Veggie Grill and they must be co-owned or something because they have some identical menu choices. I got their quinoa French Dip once and I would not recommend the meat choice. Their nachos are AMAZING. Just about everything we've tried is delish.. their prices are reasonable, not accurate with this site. I'd say about $7-10 per person.

Native Foods is in my "holy trinity" of vegan restaurants in Los Angeles and, of the three, they're the least expensive and most casual, which is nice when you don't want to have to fuss. I feel like I can eat healthy and satisfy my junk food cravings with one of Tanya Petrovna's great bowls, which combine healthy veggies and a bit of fruit with grains and sometimes a faux meat, like crispy soy chicken, along with a some kind of topping, like the BBQ sauce, or the best vegan ranch dressing I've ever dreamed of.

I also loved that Tanya prepared a Thanksgiving buffet at the Costa Mesa restaurant. Not only was it convenient for a vegan not to have to worry about prepping an "okay" home-cooked 2-hour meal, or to deal with a non-veg family, but it was really, really, really good, too. Her Native Wellington is worth every penny, if you can afford to order one frozen to heat up at home for the holiday.

I just wish there was a location closer to Hollywood than Westwood so I could go more often!

This is a restaurant I go to pretty often. There are of course certain things I enjoy more than others. My favorite item would have to be the faux chicken finger appetizer with the ranch. I need to get the recipe for that ranch because if I remember the taste of ranch correctly this one is far better. Unfortunately the chicken fingers are heavily fried. But there are also some healthier options like salads, veggie bowls, and even the pizzas are pretty healthy (really tasty crust). It has a casual and creative atmosphere and the yert its in is completely amazing! My only complaints are that sometimes it can take a while to get served and one time my friend had a bad reaction to the chilly cheese fries. But I think she just isn’t used to eating fried foods… I wish I could say the same.

simply an amazing restaurant, rumors or franchising, so i hope to see them everywhere for everyone to try because the four that exist are great. i love the atmosphere at the desert locations but this is the most kid friendly one, and my daughter loves the mac and chreese and pizza. i love the california dip (not on the menu but they'll make it!) sandwich. my hubby swears by the jerk burger. a must try! my whole family (non vegans alike) love it from appetizers to dessert...

Love this place. I wish they would open up a drive through or some way for it to be fast food. The tables are uncomfortable, so I usually get my food to go. Sometimes I'm waiting there a long time for it.

However, the food is great and I love bringing my non-veggie friends there. They can't believe how good it is. My fave are the chili cheese fries. Yummmmmmm!!!

Oh yeah, and Linda and Tanya are fantastic. I took one cooking class from Tanya and use the butternut squash lasagna and tiramisu recipes all the time. My friends can't believe it's all vegan! This place is great, and I'm so glad that Tanya has expanded this network, even though she must be on the road all the time. We love Native Foods!

i eat here all the time. some very good veg. food. love the handhelds...sandwichs and what not. have several bowls with different things atop rice, soups and a list of salads. if you're in the area, check it out for sure.

I am not sure if it gets much better than Native Foods. They have an extremely varied menu, and I have savored everything that I have tried (or traded a dining partner for! -there is something for everyone's tastes here). They make the best seitan and the "Native Cheese" is spreadable ecstasy. Their deli case allows you to take whatever you cannot tuck in at the table home to try. Some favorites: Eat it Raw Mama! salad, Newport Reuben, Jerk Burger, and Rockin' Morrocan...

SO GOOD. Not necessarily healthy, but all vegan. I love their sandwiches. Their tempeh is just outrageous. I must warn you about their bowls. Sometimes they just don't taste good. I must advise you NOT to get the macrobiotic bowl. Also, always ask for your salad dressing on the side or else they will drown the lettuce in it. They have also over charred my boyfriend's veggies in one of the bowls he got.

Other than that, it's a regular restaurant in our rotation and I recommend a visit.

Great prices.
I had tacos...
Soy fish tacos, so much delicious cabbage and their small green salad as an appetizer.
Truly amazing food.
Nice people, great atmosphere.
Yummy!
