Duluth's only Indian restaurant
This cozy restaurant has good Indian food, and is quite vegetarian friendly. The vegetarian items on the menu are all labeled.
Unfortunately for vegans, about half of the vegetarian entrees use dairy and they also put butter in their rice, so the choices for vegans are fairly limited.

Locally celebrated restaurant in an ancient Downtown building. It's on the more expensive side (for duluth standards), but has a great affordable lunch buffet.
Given how expensive it was, I really wasn't too thrilled, especially given that they use butter in their rice. The food was tasty, but for the price I'd want something really impressive, as it's about 25% more than comparable restaurants I've eaten at elsewhere.
