Lao Wai is a all-vegetarian Chinese restaurant in Norrmalm. Items on the menu are marked if they are vegan and, currently, all are. Even the cappucino is made with soy milk.
The menu features Sichuan and Taiwanese dishes, with some additional inspiration from south east Asia.
Every day there is a lunch special, which rotates in a 2-week schedule, featuring a tofu or soy protein dish with rice and stir-fried vegetables, for 80 kronor.
The dinner menu averages around 165 kronor.
The tofu and soy protein are always made from organic soy beans.
Lao Wai closes during the summer, usually from Midsommar until early August.
Near Odenplan, Lao Wai is one block east and one and a half blocks north of the Rådmansgatan T-bana station.
