Although this restaurant isn't 100% vegetarian, the number of choices available even to vegans is impressive. The lady who owns the place checked next to all of the meals that I could order that are vegan - and about 15 items were checked. The potato dosa and the eggplant with basmati rice were especially delicious.
The restaurant is rarely busy and fairly quiet. Service varies a lot depending on who is working, sometimes it's awesome and other times neglectful (although never rude.) The waitresses/waiters don't seem to have the knowledge as to what is/isn't veg safe, so be sure to talk to the lady that owns the place when she's in. (I see her there 9/10 times that I'm there.) In a city without a lot of veg options, I was delightfully surprised with my experiences at Chutney and have been back many times :)
