Cozy Tibetan restaurant

This small restaurant on Hennepin Ave in uptown offers a good selection of vegetarian dishes, all of which are vegan. The selection includes momos (dumplings), noodles, and a number of sauteed vegetable and tofu dishes.

This place is yummy! The peanut butter momos were my favorite. Another reviewer mentioned that the peanut butter momos were gone, but they're back now, baby! They have tons of vegan options and the service is awesome.

As other reviewers have said, the food is good, just not amazing.
I had the cauliflower and carrot dish. It was tasty but not awesome. It really hit the spot, though. I always forget how good cooked carrots and cauliflower are. I'll definitely try the other dishes in the veggie section, and maybe there is a hidden winner.

I live in the neighborhood, and recommend anything on the menu here.
The special part of Tibet's Corner is their service.
They treat you like you're the only one in the place.
I do miss the original red pepper sauce they had when they first opened, but what they use now is good too.

The Vegetarian noodle soup with vegetables was okay, but not spectacular. They brought out chili sauce/paste on the side for you to add spice if you like - and it needed a lot of it. My friend ordered momos - and they looked really good, but she didn't comment on them either way. I think it's a tad pricey for the quality of the food - but I can understand the high prices given the location.

I went to Tibet's Corner looking forward to the peanut butter Momos (dumplings) I had read so much about, but then learned that they have discontinued them. The dumplings in question are now filled with a mixture of what seems to be cream cheese and broccoli. How disappointing. As another reviewer noted, even though Tibetan cuisine is usually meat-heavy Tibet's Corner has a whole section of about 6 vegan entrees. The bad news is they aren't that amazing. At least the cauliflower carrot dish I had wasn't. Nice ambiance, just lackluster food.

The comment about this place being "not for vegetarians" is incorrect. The menu has an entire vegetarian section, in which most (if not all) of the dishes are vegan. The "house special" momos with vegetables and peanut butter are delicious.

Not for a vegan. Even a veggie.
Tibetans love their meat.

We tried the Fried Noodle dish which was pretty good, and the vegetable noodle soup, which I thought was a little bland. Momos were good.
Overall, I think the dishes were a little bland compared to other Tibetan restaurants I've been to in other cities. There should have been a little more flavor and spicing to it. But it's a good new place in Uptown that offers light vegan options when you don't feel like going over to Lotus or Kihn Do.

I went with a large group and we ordered one of everything vegan on the menu. Everything was good, though the tofu entrees and the momos were my favorite.

The lemon tea is not too exciting, as it is just Lipton with some lemon juice.
