Sapor Cafe & Bar
$$$ - expensive
Eclectic (Fusion)
Swanky date spot.
They have a real chef in the kitchen. Very good service, will respond extremely well to nut allergies, knows about vegans, and always has one vegetarian entree that can easily be made vegan. If you make your requirements clear to the server, you will have no problems.
Menu is very seasonal and changes weekly. This past fall, they had a vegan squash puree. A few salads, breads, and various types of dips.
A dinner for 2 (with appetizers) would run $50 to $65. Reservations recommended for date nights (Fri, Sat, special holidays). Lunch is much cheaper (half off) and just as good. They have patio seating in warm weather.

When I went to Sapor for my one and only time a couple of years ago, they only had one vegetarian entree (an egg-noodle alfredo), and nothing vegan. (They do rotate their menu, however.)
However, my friend asked the waitress why there weren't any vegan options and the server convinced the chef to create a beautiful and colorful vegan dish. Amazing and impressive! But why wouldn't they just offer this on the menu?
Be advised as well that their high-back chairs are covered in salmon-colored leather. Creepy...
