Soup en zo is Amsterdam's first and foremost 'soup shop'. A place to relax and enjoy top quality freshly-made soups and salads - or take them away to your home or office. More than half our business is 'take-away', but you can also enjoy your soup at the 'bar' or, for most of the year, at one of the tables on our pavement terrace. Offering top quality and friendly service, Soup en zo also healthy fruit juices and milkshakes, coffee, tea, mineral water, biological lemon-ginger drinks and delicious cake.
Soup en zo is located in the very heart of Amsterdam at Jodenbreestraat 94a. We are a one minute walk away from the Waterlooplein flea market, Amsterdam's City Hall and Opera House (Stopera), the Rembrandt House, Gassan Diamonds and the Theatre and Film Schools. We are also a five minute walk from the Nieuwmarket area, and a ten minute walk from Rembrantsplein.

reasonably priced (I suppose that means cheap if you don't deal with an exchange rate), hearty soups, with a few kinds of bread. they had three vegan selections when I went (make sure to ask - they star the vegetarian ones, but some are not vegan), one was something with corn, one with lentils, one with spinach. all were really tasty and perfect for the hailing weather outdoors.
