Dandelion Communitea Cafe

I was visiting from out of town and was very happy to find this cafe. The atmosphere is that of an alternative, comfortable, community friendly cafe complete with local art. The workers were really friendly (and not pretentious) and made helpful suggestions about the food, iced tea selection, and even had suggestions when I asked what to do around town. I had Machos Libre, which was good, but I would definitely try something like a sandwich or wrap next time. I wish I was in town to go back!

The sweet potatoes burrito had the perfect twist of flavors and texture. As a first timer to the cafe, I was not disappointed. If you are looking for a healthy meal that satisfies the taste buds, this is the place to go.

Black bean quesadillas, veggie chili, salads like "Eve's Revenge", wraps, bowls like the "Hunny Mustard" with cashew encrusted tempeh strips, sandwiches, desserts and a vegan Fluffer Nutter. What's not to like about this place? They also have a kid's menu.

Funky interior with a sort of circus like tent ceiling in one room and eclectic artwork. The restaurant is in what use to be someone's home. You order in the front room, there's a little dining space next to it, then there are two more rooms in the back.

Easy street parking out front.
