Laguna Lodge Nature Reserve is 147km west of Guatemala City, approximately two and a half hours away from the city by the pan american highway. The Lodge is situated in Lake Atitlan National Park, in the western highland province of Solola. From Tzanjuyu dock in the lakeside town of Panajachel the municipality of Santa Cruz La Laguna is reached in 15 minutes by boat for Q10 each way. Boats leave regularly for San Pedro or Santa Cruz and pass the area of Tzantizotz and the private dock of Laguna Lodge and Laguna Nature Reserve. The boats stop at the dock when asked and regularly travel back and forth.
