Natural food, teas, and a bakery

Most of the food can be adapted for vegans and it's not too expensive. They also have a bakery and sell teas. Tofu or soy protein chunks can be put in place of any meat on the menu. All of their drinks are freshly made. The atmosphere is pretty tranquil and smoke-free.

Located inside the Galleria shopping mall.

I am very confused by the negative reviews for this place. I went for the first time last weekend and I had an excellent experience. The waitress knew exactly what was and was not vegan. I had their veggie burger and it was so good. There were tons of good looking things on the menu. The person I was there with ordered a sandwich and asked for no celery on it. It came with celery on it anyway, so he picked it off. The waitress noticed the celery on his plate and comped his entire meal without his even asking. The service was top-notch and the food was awesome. I will be returning soon to try other things.

They had a soup sampler offer that was good, but otherwise, the food is just so-so. The Galleria mall is just too obnoxious for me to handle.

This place is horrible. I went there a few years ago and would never go back. They seated us outdoors by the mall dumpsters, which attracted hoards of flies and smelled awful--I couldn't believe it. We were also packed so closely to the other tables that we couldn't really have a conversation and the busboys kept running into us as they tried to squeeze by. My veggie burger was so mushy that it almost didn't hold together, and it tasted pretty bland. I can't remember what my friend had, but he hated it too.

I'm from Denver/Boulder where we have many wonderful vegetarian and health oriented choices in our menus as well as many resturants. It has been difficult to spend most of the last 3 years in Northern MN and not have the choices and excellent food I'm used to. Finding the Good Earth in Mpls is GREAT! My sis and I went the other night... enjoyed the ambiance, as well as, both of our meals, feeling they were "overportioned" for the price. (Not overpriced as one review mentions) Each time I return to Mpls area, I will make sure to eat there.

The only reason this place gets a 3 instead of a 2 is because they have excellent smoothies and juice (which are a little pricey). I used to take seminars nearby and frequently had lunches there during breaks. The food isn't great for what you're paying, and there aren't that many vegan options. But, if you're stuck in Edina and need to have lunch during a seminar break, it's alright. Oh, and I agree, the tea is disgusting.

the flat bread thingies mentioned in the previous review aren't vegan. i mistakenly believed so, and was about to purchase a whole bag of them from their bakery case when i looked at the nutrion info and saw they contain cholestoral. cholestoral = animal ingredients. i don't know exectly what it is that makes them non-vegan, since they don't list the ingredients, but they're not vegan.

the only good thing about this joint is their lemonade. it's the best! but way expensive and they fill the glass about 3/4 full of ice, so you don't even get much of the only decent thing they have there.

oh yeah, their tea is nasty.
