Hearty, vibrant Italian classics in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood.

Nestled in an unassuming little space just outside of Chinatown, Tommaso's has been serving up wood-fired pizza and homemade pasta for decades. They have a few standard vegan/vegetarian options such as Spaghetti w/Marinara, as well as more unusual choices like Chilled String Beans w/Olive Oil and Lemon, or Spaghetti w/Broccoli, Olive Oil and Garlic. You can count on the atmosphere being lively, warm and bustling; there is often a line out the door, although the waitstaff comes around to bring you beverages while you wait.
