OK so it's not exactly health food, but oh my goodness is their monthly vegan brunch buffet a wonderful treat. Their menu items and lunch specials are delicious, but when my friend from the east coast planned her trip to visit me here, I made sure she got a flight for the week including the first Sunday of the month, so I can take her to brunch here. Many different American (biscuits and gravy, pancakes, banana bread) and Mexican (enchiladas, tofu migas, ) brunch items, served all-you-can-eat?! Yes, please. Less of the normal menu items are vegan, but there are still many options, especially compared to non-veg places, and the lunch special is a good deal. They also have lots of baked goods you can grab, even a whole vegan tres leches cake! Yum. I also love the vibe of this place: not too fancy schmancy, more of a community feeling, with down-to-earth, friendly employees. The parking is awful, but if you live in this area it's in a great location, and I love that there's a yoga place attached. Years before I even considered moving to Austin, I swear I saw them featured in some television show about vegetarian places in Austin and find it incredible that I actually get to eat here.

In Austin for a convention, I took a group of 25 teachers to Mr. Natural. I told them the next day they could eat wherever they liked. The next day, they all went back to Mr. Natural.
The dining set up is very plain and simple. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Food is cafeteria style. We all got a lunch plate that included selections from each section on the food bar. The potato salad is worth the trip. You will only regret you didn't get more of it to take with you! Menu varies from day to day, so some of my teachers went back the 3rd day of our stay. Price is very reasonable. Don't let the building outside look fool you, go on in, make yourself at home and enjoy a delightful, healthy, great tasting meal! Save room for dessert(great selection)!!
