Fast, Family-friendly Middle Eastern Fare
Gyros Palace is one of just a few non-chain restaurants surrounding the nearby Arrowhead Towne Center. This is a family-owned venue and it feels that way, offering an eclectic menu with a Middle Eastern bent. Order at the counter and (hopefully) they'll call your number when the food is ready. (Keep an eye on the counter for you food sitting up there if the wait seems unusually long.)
If you're looking for an alternative to Zorba's Mediterrean (three miles east of here), this is a good place to start.
Sampler Platter (mushrooms, hummus, dolmas, falafel, pita)
Garden Salad (green leaf lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, carrots, and bell peppers)
Greek Salad (green leaf lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, carrots, bell peppers, feta, olives, and Greek dressing)
Sandwiches are $5 (add $2 for fries and a soft drink), and include:
Veggie Wrap (with grilled mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and rice)
For Veg entrees, there's a Falafel plate (served with rice or French fries, salad, and pita)
for dessert, try the warm baklava.
