Vegan Tofu Shojin Ryori
Seigenin is located at the Ryoan-ji temple complex, which features a 500 year old Rock Garden and a beautiful pond.
Seigenin offers a "seiza" dining amoshphere where guests sit on the floor in a spacious roomthat overlooks the garden.
Courses range from 1500 to 3300 yen and offer varioations of boiled tofu with vegetables. They also offer beer and sake for 500 yen.
Unlike many other shojin ryoris in Kyoto, a reservation is not needed.
