Vegan cafe

Pure Cafe is a vegan cafe that offers sandwiches, soups, salads, and desserts. They feature various "dip and toasts" which is some sort of tofu spread, bean dip, or another spread.

Their menu is somewhat limited and they offer light meals. This is one of the few (perhaps only) places in Tokyo where you can find vegan breakfast. Breakfast is served from 8:30-11am, lunch from 12-3pm, and dinner some time after that.

Most of the menu contained English.

Pure Cafe is located inside the AVEDA building and the AVEDA sign is in bright pink letters so it should be easy to find.

Note that they only take cash.

Directions:

Take the Hanzoman line to the Omotesando station and take the B3 exit. When you come up from the exit, there will be a busy street in front of you and a small street to your left. Turn left down the small street and walk about two blocks, until the street ends. You will see the AVEDA building.

This place is run by the same people who run Cafe Eight. The food at both places is good, but I think Cafe Eight has better food and larger portions.

I had the dip and toast sampler, which had mini toasts with tofu/beet, bean, and olive spread. Tasty but very small portion. I also had the veggie burger, which was non-traditional, just a veggie patty w/ marinara sauce. It was good but very pricey and small. I also had the spiced carrot cake and it war really good.
