Jyun Kang Vegetarian Restaurant
Mendocino County, California

Delicious and unique vegan cuisine from the Chinese Chan tradition
Jyun Kang, though the food is Chinese in origin, serves food that doesn't fit into any category I know of. They do not serve food imitative of meat dishes, nor does most of their food have direct variations in Chinese or other east Asian cuisines.
Only open for lunch, Wednesday through Monday, 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., first come, first serve.
The restaurant serves and is part of the Sagely City of Ten Thousand Buddhas just east of Ukiah in Talmage. Some will remember the sister restaurant that was on Geary St. between Jones and Leavenworth in San Francisco for many years.
