Restaurant, Bar

The interior of the Post Office is ornamented with memorabilia evoking a post office - there's enough room for a medium-sized crowd at the tables and bar stools. Comedy and drag shows supplement the fairly large menu and drink list.

They close for the winter - call ahead for hours during the season.
There are a number of vegetarian options including most of the pasta (which is not vegan because of the eggs). There are also a few wraps which are veg-friendly, as well as a special called the vegetarian's delight.

The Post Office was a huge disappointment - the large menu of options is sort of misleading for a vegan, especially when you find out that all of the pasta has egg in it. I tried the "Vegetarian's Delight" special, which unfortunately turned out to be a pathetically small plate of over-grilled veggies. I couldn't have the mashed potatoes because of the butter they premix in, so I ended up with a very sad looking, and unseasoned baked potato -- that dish cost an outrageous $15, far more expensive than the larger non-veg options on the menu. The service was also not spectacular and markedly unenthusiastic. The whole negative vibe I think rubbed off on the food.
