Roots Market is a vegan-friendly grocery that is located in the "Conscious Corner", right next to Great Sage vegetarian restaurant. The market has all of your everyday needs including an extensive produce section, bulk, frozen, and bakery items (including gluten-free), plus they carry tons of vegan splurge items like non-dairy ice creams and cheeses. Roots also often has samples of their fresh fruits, dried fruits, and nuts, so you can taste it before you can buy it.

I really liked this place and was very impressed with their selection of vegan products (cheese, ice cream, faux meats, etc.). My favorite thing was the huge trays of fresh pineapple, nectarines, and other fruits that were displayed. I also loved how the staff didn't complain when my friends and I proceeded to shamelessly stuff our faces with free samples.
