This is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Rhode Island. Fortunately for us there are multiple locations! Be sure to check out their Warren and East Greenwich locations, as well. The atmosphere is second to none, and the food is authentic and never disappoints. There is often live music during the evening- usually light jazz or classical piano. The mood is very romantic, yet relaxed.
The majority of their salads and appetizers are Vegan. Be sure to try their selection of Naan, Paratha and Roti breads (baked fresh in the traditional fashion). The menu features an array of curry dishes, most of which are Vegan. You can also find a variety of other entries to suit a discerning Vegan. The bar is also fully stocked with fine wines and spirits as well as a few ethnic specialties.
Prices for such a rich experience are surprisingly reasonable. Entres range from $9-13 ($6-10 during lunch: 11am-3pm). Appetizers range from $2-7, some of which could be a meal in of themselves.
Enjoy!
