Vegetarian South Indian Cuisine

This all-vegetarian Indian restaurant is very vegan-friendly (except the desserts) and is a little pricier and better known than other Indian restaurants.

One of their specials is the thali, which is a small platter with samplings of different South and North Indian curries--with free refills! Woodlands also specializes in paper dosas, stiff rice-flour crepes the size of a newspaper that are filled with curried potatoes.

They stage an all-you-can-eat, pay-what-you-will buffet on Gandhi's birthday (October 14th) each year then donate all the proceedes to charity.
