All-vegetarian natural foods cooperative market, open to public
The 4th Street Food Co-op is a small all-vegetarian natural foods food cooperative store, open to the public.
The 4th Street Food Co-op offers organic produce, locally grown as much as feasible, large selection of bulk goods such as flours, oats, dry fruits, many varieties of rice, dry beans, dry pasta, tofu, miso, spices, health and beauty supplies, and more. You will additionally find other natural food products like soy milk, vegan ice cream, and other packaged foods.
The co-op has managed to replace almost all of the "corporate organic" non-produce produced by companies owned by multinationals not meeting ethical standards.
Anyone can shop at the co-op, but working members receive discounts between 8 and 25% depending on the number of hours they work. Membership is $25/year for working members and $35/year for non-working members.
