Situated in Northern Spain, this small comfortable and friendly country hotel has spectacular views of mountains and countryside. The restaurant, open exclusively for guests for breakfasts and evening, imaginative, and vegetarian-friendly meals.
Home cooking has an emphasis on the use of organic and local produce. The hotel is surrounded by its own 18-acre organic farm with wild flowers, orchards, vegetable garden, and Asturian rare breeds. Environmental values have a central place in the hotel’s philosophy which contribute to the friendly atmosphere and guests well-being. Location is near Picos de Europa and the Cantabrian Sea - offering guests a wide range of activities and scenic walks.
To enjoy the region to its best we strongly recommend having the use of a car. It is possible to come to the area with your own car, (travelling by land or ferry) or hire a car at the airport of arrival, or in the city of Oviedo.
Asturias or (misleadingly named) Oviedo airport is the closest airport to the hotel at 105 kms and about 75 minutes by car. National flights connect with Madrid and Barcelona and Easy Jet has just started operating competive priced flights flights with London Stanstead
Santander airport at 140kms and just under 2 hours from the hotel operates a Ryanair flight to Stanstead and Berlin
Bilbao airport at 220 kms and about 2½ to 3 hours from the hotel offers a more extensive range of flights.
