Earthfoods Cafe
Northhampton, Massachusetts

Student run vegetarian restaurant serving lunch weekdays 11am - 3pm
Earthfoods Cafe was founded on April 12, 1976 by a group of students concerned with the lack of economical, healthy food on campus. It continues today, serving 400-600 people lunch everyday in a cafeteria style environment. If you don't want to wait in line, get there early. There is the People's Market right next door where you can get many kinds of drinks and snacks. They have a large (free) water cooler and usually cider at Earthfoods. The food is generally very good, and VERY filling. Portions are generous.
