Abundance Co-Op
Grocery/Bakery/Deli
American, Eclectic (Varied)
Cooperative market in Rochester
The abundance co-op is a cooperatively owned and operated natural foods market.
You'll find a large selection of vegan packaged foods and organic produce, as well as a large bulk section including bulk spices, nut butters, maple syrup, pastas, grains, beans, and even shampoo and cleaning products. In the refrigerated section, you can buy bulk tofu for $1.39 a pound, made locally by Soy Boy.
The co-op also has a small café with refrigerated sandwiches and snack foods, plus fresh juices. There are 2 or 3 tables to sit at by the window while eating. Some of the deserts are vegan, from Savory Thyme catering.
The Abundance Co-op is on Marshall Street, just off of Monroe. It is a few blocks from Strong Children's Museum, and a block away from the on-ramp/off-ramp to the Inner Loop and 490.

The co-op used to be all-vegetarian, but changed a few years ago.
They are still mostly vegetarian, and I think the best natural foods store in town. They are much better than the Natural Oasis market, and despite having a smaller building, I think about equal with Lori's Natural Foods.
The co-op has on and off-street parking, and a bike rack.
