Vegan's Delight's all-vegan menu includes lots of Caribbean vegan dishes: ital stew, stew peas, curried bean curd, veg fish, boiled green bananas, sweet plantains, lilla coco, pepper steak, eggplant melange, sweet potato, yellow or white yams, as well as a variety of soups and stews. I've always driven by this take out/grocery place and never stopped. Today I was feeling hungry and my daughter asked me to get her something to eat, so I was nearby and I stopped. We are vegans and I got the calaloo patties, red velvet cake and strawberry cheesecake.
I want to honestly kick myself for not stopping in there way before today. The patties were tasty, and the cakes were UNBELIEVABLE! My teenage daughter, who's a super picky eater loved the strawberry cheesecake, I loved them both. I can't wait to go back, in all likelihood, tomorrow.
