Coop with a vegetarian deli
Nestled on the banks of the Winooski River in Montpelier, Vermont, Hunger Mountain Co-op, a member-owned cooperative, offers a wide selection of natural foods and products, as well as a full service deli-cafe with prepared dishes for here and to go.
This coop is not vegetarian, but it has an all-vegetarian salad bar with a changing array of freshly prepared salads, soups and hot entrees. The deli closes at 7:30 every day.

The Hunger Mountain Food Coop is located right behind the Kismet Kitchen. It has a large selection of vegan-friendly products, including lots of flavors of locally-made vegan cookies by Liz Lovely.
