I don't know if I came here on a bad day or what but I found the food to be really bland and unexciting. Even though I love soup, the tasters I was given of each of the soups of the day were totally uninspiring. My soup and sandwich were tasty, but nothing I couldn't have whipped up at home. However, the people sitting at the next table over from me were literally in raptures about how amazing the food was so it's possible I just ordered the wrong thing. Or that my standards are too high from Real Food Daily in L.A. (where they make everything fresh on the premises, including their fake cheeses and fake meats).
The food was amazing! I was really impressed with the service and incredible atmosphere. It was perfect lunch! Will definitely return again and again.
Good food, large portions. Friendly staff. The strawberry lemonade, pancakes, tofu salad, and baked goods are great. The only downside is that vegan cheese substitutes are not offered. You can substitute avocado for free, but I can't imagine a grilled avocado sandwich being quite the same.
