I've been to Kinta 10-12 times since they opened in Summer of 2006, and my experiences have been consistently stellar. The service is friendly, the presentation is excellent, and the food is both nutritious and delicious. I have brought vegans and non-vegans there, and everyone has gone home full and happy. Kinta has a well-stocked bar offering any kind of cocktail you'd like. Although the wine list is limited, it is very good. The owner makes her own soft drinks using fresh ingredients, and there is a good selection of tea, as well. The owner/chef is constantly responding to her clientele, and has expanded the menu significantly since opening. I especially enjoy the tofu with mushroom flavor as an appetizer, and a curried noodle dish as a main course. For entrees, diners select up to three vegetables from a daily-changing array, and then add either tofu or a non-vegan protein. I admire the owners' commitment to quality and local food suppliers. Put Kinta on your list of vegan-friendly restaurants to visit.
