Sree's is an informal restaurant with 3 different locations (Squirrel Hill, Carnegie Mellon University, and downtown Pittsburgh) serving unique Hyderabadi cuisine. Sree has a truck, along with the other food vendors, on Margaret Morrison street on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University. Food is served from 11AM until 3PM, or whenever he runs out of food for the day, which does happen.
For $4 you get your choice of 3 of his 4 daily curries, plus rice and bread. Every day Sree serves Aloo Chole (Chickpea Potato) and some variety of Tofu Curry. The other 2 dishes rotate daily, and include Tomato Dal (Tomato curry with Lentils) Eggplants, and Grape Leaves. Some days Sree's has samosas for $1, but the availability does not follow any schedule. Sree's used to be completely vegan, but most of their locations now serve chicken.
Sree's has offered completely vegan meals at many AR events. They are very knowledgeable about veg/vegan cuisine.
Meals are served in Styrofoam take-out containers, although customers are welcome to bring their own reusable plastic containers if they like.

Sree's truck is on Margaret Morrison Street on CMU's campus. Margaret Morrison Street is the last right turn you can make off of Forbes Ave. before you begin the ascent up Squirrel Hill. Look for a line of trucks during lunch time - Sree's is red.
The 61 busses will drop you off at the intersection of Forbes and Margaret Morrison - near "The Frame" art space.
