Fantastic Food, you pays your money but it's worth every penny, many friends have visited and always giving me 100% feedback. I am a simple man who enjoys the simple ethical things in life, this is local shop, if you're not vegan there's nothing for you here.

Since my first experience at D&B, I have been averaging between one and two visits a month as this is truly one of the most spectacular places I have ever eaten at. It is approx one hour to travel to for me, but easily worth every single second of journey!

Menu alone is heaven for vegans: innovative, exciting and an exorbitant taste sensation in every mouthful! Not only is the whole menu vegan (yes, amazing desserts!!), but it changes every month. At last vegans have been rewarded!!

The environment is beautifully and tastefully decorated and the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I can't give enough praise to this establishment! I've taken many non-vegans who are now regular customers and look forward to our outings here. If I could come here every night, I would!!!

We traveled over an hour to get to this restaurant and it was definitely worth it! It was fantastic to be in a place that actually knows what a vegan is let alone one that serves fantastic food. One of the best meals I have ever had and the blueberry cheesecake was to die for!!!!! My two little girls were also thrilled to be able to have ice cream in a restaurant (we usually have to leave before dessert). The staff made us feel welcome and were very patient with our girls. With the food and the service it made for a very pleasurable evening and we will certainly be returning in the near future. Highly recommended!!!!!

Excellent food, delightful setting, even on a dark night!
As a single diner, I was made welcome and offered magazines while I waited for my freshly-cooked meal.
A quiet weeknight, with minimal staff, but the service was spot on - and the food was worth waiting for!
For a vegan, it's such a pleasure to have choices - especially desserts.
I'm looking forward to going back for brunch!

If I lived nearer this restaurant I'd never cook again. The food is utterly fabulous. As a vegan, not having to skip most of the menu to find the 1 or 2 vegan options is a joy. And there are desserts, which is a rarity in non vegan restaurants. In fact, having so much choice is rather awesome - it takes some getting used to! The staff are really friendly, too. And the ambiance of the place lends itself to either fun, family groups or intimate romantic twosomes. You can also take non-veggies here and they'll love it.

I'm a non-vegetarian and I LOVE this restaurant. If you want exciting, interesting and, above all, incredibly tasty food then this is the place. Tucked away in a corner of Sowerby Bridge its worth making the trek from nearby alternative-friendly Hebden Bridge just to experience the delights of this eaterie. Its a world away from the usual veggie fare offered as a last-minute thought on most restaurant menus. The dishes are well thought out and innovative and have never failed to please. and yes, the fruit beers are fabulous too!

This place is a real find. As a veggie I hate being expected to order the one thing on the menu that I may be able to eat but probably won't fancy or like. At Dandelion and Burdock there is no fear of that.

All the food is vegan and of the highest quality. The menu which is changed monthly is innovative and creative and has something for everyone. When you read the menu you know you have come somewhere more than a little bit special. There is plenty of choice.

The owner and staff are friendly and there is a nice relaxed atmosphere which is more casual at lunch time and a little more formal but still relaxed in the evening. Changes to the set menu are no problem for this team and if the kids need veggie sausage and mash or beans or toast instead of something more elaborate then that's no problem either.

We visit as a couple for an intimate dinner and with our 4 year old for lunch. He particularly enjoys looking out over the water and it can keep a child amused for a long while while you eat and chat.

My husband particularly likes this restaurant because it sells a fabulous range of Belgian fruit beers:).
