Pizza Paradiso is a shop with two locations, DuPont circle and Georgetown. They feature several pre-designed pizzas, as well as one where you can customize your own. Among the customizable ingredients: soy cheese and whole wheat crust.

Expensive, but fantastic vegan cheese pizza. Worth it for a treat.

I was really happy to run into a regular pizza joint that could actually do a decent vegan pizza. The pizza I got was pretty good, though the soy cheese they use got rather runny (pretty typical of vegan soy cheese). The service was great.
I liked the atmosphere-it was lively and fun-but I thought the pizza was pretty average. I really liked that they brought olives to the table to munch on, but aside from that, I wasn't overly impressed.
