I have eaten at Leonors for over 10 years, and nothing compares in the area. I like everything except the fake beef, but that is because I dont like ANY fake beef. The "forever young salad" is out of this world. I usually have the Dougs Delight burrito or the "Mikes Special" with guacamole. The Empinadas are very good too, and dont forget the excellent tomales served only on the weekends.
The service is very good and always very freindly. The prices are unbeleivable. I recomend this place to everyone, veg or carni.

The food is good just make sure to add your own seasoning. The best part of all were the prices. Why pay $20 for lunch if you can eat here for $8. My suggestion try the pizza it's very good!

Leonor's is awesome. If you are a strict vegan, maybe not. But if you're just an awesome vegetarian like me, it rules fools. All you have to do is add some salt if its bland. Its true, its un-salty. But its awesome. Cabbage and avocados galore. The salads are a good bargain. The fake cheese is super yummy. Did I say avocados? There is no place like Leonor's. I have to say, if you don't like it, you might be a fool of some kind. I can only really endorse the one on Victory, where Leonor works. She is awesome, a total tuffy. Thanks to you the Valley doesn't totally suck.

i have eaten here quite a few times. i have tried a new item each time. The first time i ate there i thought the food was bland. it still is. there is no real flavor to the food unless you pack on the green spicy sauce. if i venture back I'll try the pizza. I hated the salad, it was too huge and not good. the wet burrito was filling but i can't say I'd eat one again.

It's really a shame that the food here is so good. After moving to California I ate here religiously for 2 years, during that time intermittently still questioning if the food was vegan and the soy cheese free of casein. I was always assured that it was. After hearing much talk that perhaps they were not being so honest about their ingredients, I called and professed an extreme dairy allergy. It was only then that they admitted there was casein in the cheese. I have no doubt that they exploited a belief that was important to me for money.
Their food is delicious, but their ethics aren't.

Leonor's menu features many vegetarian dishes that are well described, but blandly executed. The soups are merely okay, the salads are much larger than their flavors demand, and the wet burritos can fill an empty stomach without inspiring much. However, Leonor's makes 3 things that I tend to dream about: fully refreshing flax seed tea, chunky guacamole, and vegan pizzas with biscuity crusts. I'm getting hungry just typing this.

Note: The good things about Leonor's don't really apply to the Studio City location.
